BAYSIDE BUSINESS SOLUTIONS ANNOUNCES RELEASE OF CADENCE 2.15.3
Birmingham, Alabama – November 22, 2011 – Bayside Business Solutions announced the release of Version 2.15.3 of its flagship product CADENCE. This substantial upgrade includes an array of new interfaces for integrated credit monitoring, integrated faxing, automated shipping and delivery verification, as well as built-in data visualization and intelligent data collection for accelerated check processing.
The interfaces are the result of partnerships that Bayside has forged with popular vendors to the finance industry. “Our goal is to build in extensive access to third-party services to simplify workflow and reduce risk. We don’t think you should have to leave the system that manages your business to run a credit check or confirm that a package delivered or send a fax.” Explained Jay McKinney, Bayside’s Senior V.P. of Operations. “To the extent that we build in easy access to outside services and then channel the data from those services back into CADENCE, we can speed up a company’s processes and reduce administrative burden.”
CADENCE | Charts is a new feature that enables users to chart trends quickly and easily—also without ever leaving the system. This executive charting tool allows you to create and print bar and line charts that graphically display monthly performance trends for your lending portfolios. It include a template function that allows users to build their own series of charts, save them, then apply them again and again over time, with different clients and debtors, and across groups.
CADENCE | Intelligent Data Collection’s new check processing capability utilizes optical character recognition technologies to drastically reduce the amount of human effort required to enter document data while processing payments. Scanned check batches are processed through IDC Check to capture payment data, including payor name, payee name, date, amount, and bank account. IDC Checks automatically matches known accounts to the customer/debtor record. Any check not reading above the predetermined confidence level is presented to the user for manual correction—vastly increasing the efficiency of the payment posting process.
